Striking the right balance between information sharing and information protection is essential for national defense and homeland security. At Akimeka, our next-generation Web Service-enabled cross-domain solutions help accomplish this important goal by enabling authorized users to quickly and securely access and manage data from different classification levels. As a result, military decision makers, intelligence analysts, and warfighters have access to the complete and timely information they need to make the informed decisions required for mission success.

Our work with the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) and the intelligence community is helping to redefine cross-domain information access within the government. Akimeka's Cross-Domain Solutions Laboratory is a center of excellence for testing and evaluation. This state-of-the-art facility houses several of the leading certified guards as well as cutting-edge XML firewalls and appliances. This unique collection of guards and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) appliances allows Akimeka to serve the government as an independent broker for collaboration, integration, development, and testing.
